Pricing & Terms of Trade

Still competitively priced!!

          My prices haven't changed in 3 years, and 5 years before that, but I can't avoid the  

          continuing rise in petrol prices, among other things, so unfortunately I've had to raise

          my prices to the new ones below - effective 1st June 2021

        Setup/Repair/Tutoring

         $55hr (one hour minimum) - for residential customers, mileage is included!

         Remote Support Service

         $45hr - must be arranged prior to session. When the situation warrants it, I also offer  

         Remote Support using a variety of online tools. You can operate your PC yourself with my

         guidance or you can watch me operate your PC from my office. Sessions can be

         disconnected at any time by you, and none of the software will give me access to your PC

         without your consent.

         After Hours Rates

         After Hours jobs taken upon availability and on a case by case basis.
         Booking Surcharge $25, Per Hr Rate $65

         Pickup/Delivery Service

         For those clients who have physical problems getting to their systems, or those who just

         don’t want to ‘mess with all the wires’, I offer a Pickup and Delivery Service. I will:

                disconnect the computer

                take notes on what work needs to be done (I'm presuming you have already

                    discussed and determined what is needed, either with me or a technician)

                deliver to a repairer or technician of your choice and brief them

                pick up the computer when its ready

                deliver back to your home and reconnect.

        All up fee of $60.00

        (This is for pickup and delivery only, any extra time spent over the time to reconnect, will

        have to attract the standard 1hr fee. The utmost care taken but no responsibility for

        damage or loss.

   What others are charging....

         Noel Leeming "Set up and Learn" Service 

         Any Device (PC/Laptop/Tablet/Phone/Media Device/Printer/Software Installs/Modem

         Any 1 for 1 hour $149.00 (Data Transfer - an additional $99.00. Additional Time $99.00hr)

         Geeks on Wheels 

         Standard Rate $120.00hr (charged in 15 min increments thereafter)

         Need a Nerd 

         $110hr inc mileage inside city limits

        What do you get for your money?

        In an hour, I can optimise your desktop, install a FREE antivirus program, run a cleanup

        utility, talk to you about backups, uninstall unnecessary programs that are slowing down

        your computer and many many other things. And it won't cost you anywhere near $120!!

Terms of Trade

        Pickup & Delivery Service: $60 per job. To include: as above. All pickups & deliveries are with the

        utmost care, but no responsibility for damage or loss. Owners/customers who use this service are

        responsible for the appropriate insurance and will not hold Kaye Walford or Creative Juices Computing

        liable for any damage or loss.

        Payment Terms: Payment at the time of appointment is required – residential jobs ONLY invoiced with prior 

        arrangement. Business customers are charged mileage. Invoices not prior arranged attract a $7.50 Admin  

             fee..Residential Customers-Strictly 14 days from invoice date. 

        Business customer’s invoices are due for payment on the 20^th of the month following supply. Invoices not paid by

        their due date will attract (accruing) interest at the prescribed rate of 7.5%pa until paid

        I am not GST-registered but as I am a registered business, a receipt is always available and will be offered.

        Cash or Internet Banking. Mobile Payment Terminal available

        ELECTRONIC PAYMENTS: Please remit to:

        Please advise by email, amount & invoice numbers that have been paid.

          Non-attendance Fee: When a booking is made and is attended by Creative Juices Computing, but the

        customer fails to attend, then a one hour charge will be invoiced. The invoice due for payment strictly

        14 days from booking date, and all other debt recovery criteria apply.

        Mileage: Residential support calls within the city limits – mileage is included. (i.e. inside 100km speed signs,

        to addresses on city streets.) (Business are charged mileage.) Outside the city limits – mileage is charged at

        77c (i.e. when passing a 100km speed sign, leaving residential streets and entering the rural sector).

        The mileage rate is based on the current IRD posted rate. Ref:

        Debt Recovery and Legal Costs: The customer will be liable for debt recovery, legal costs & collection

        fees expended in recovering any debt. This to include application fees, and any ancillary costs to bring

        an action in the relevant court or tribunal.

        Damage and Warranty: Cost of Damages and Liability is limited to the cost of the services provided,

        but the Consumer Guarantees Act and any other relevant acts still apply. Liability for any loss resulting

        from damage to equipment or loss of data (howsoever caused) is expressly excluded.
